Dr. Adduru’s arrival reflects FFLC’s ongoing commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based podiatric care across Florida, with a focus on patient comfort, mobility, and long-term outcomes.

A Strong Medical Foundation Rooted in Experience

Dr. Ron Adduru brings more than a decade of healthcare experience to Family Foot & Leg Center Sarasota. Born in the Philippines and raised in Texas, he began his medical career as a Trauma and Critical Care Nurse, gaining extensive hands-on experience in high-acuity clinical settings.

This early background provided Dr. Adduru with a strong foundation across multiple medical disciplines, shaping his comprehensive and thoughtful approach to patient care. His experience allows him to evaluate foot and ankle conditions within the broader context of overall health—an especially important perspective for patients with complex or chronic conditions.

Advanced Education and Surgical Training

Dr. Adduru earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He then completed a rigorous residency in Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery at the HCA Houston Healthcare West Surgical Residency and Fellowship Program.

Dr. Adduru’s clinical interests include general podiatry, wound care, dermatology, pediatric podiatry, and sports medicine, allowing him to care for patients across a wide range of foot and ankle conditions. He has also completed advanced training in minimally invasive surgery, foot and ankle trauma, reconstructive surgery, and limb salvage, enabling him to manage both routine and complex cases with a focus on preserving function, promoting healing, and supporting long-term mobility.

His comprehensive training allows him to tailor treatment plans to each patient—prioritizing non-surgical options when appropriate while offering advanced surgical solutions when necessary.
